There is a tremendous organization and ministry called Isaiah’s Promise that reaches out to parents facing a life-limiting prenatal diagnosis. These families are counseled and wrapped in love, compassion, support, and tangible gifts to help them see heartbreaking pregnancies through to completion. Connections and friendships are made, and the organization supports the family through the delivery and grief process.
While I wish I had known about organizations like Isaiah’s Promise in 2000 when facing a devastating diagnosis during my second pregnancy, the best thing I can do is to honor their work by passing along the information. Isaiah’s Promise and other groups are humbly serving as the very hands and feet of Jesus for countless grieving families.
